Berjaya Redang, Day 1 Part II
Finally Grace and I settled ourselves in the room and we started camwhoring and grace imitated a lot of poses from some Korean artistes. Remember I said how much she love about Korean culture. *She's currently learning the language as well, one of the toughest language on earth aside Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic - According to Times Magazine, June issue*
And by the way, during our boat ride to Redang, she too imitated a number of poses. Let me show you how silly and crazy she can be.

After we unpacked our stuffs in the room, she started posing again and poor me I have to keep taking pictures for her..

Right, back to Room 3009..
Like I said many many times before, Berjaya Redang is just luxurious compared to economical Redang Bay. The room has nice comfy beds with pillows that smelled of detergent and not some saliva stain! Besides, we managed to get a room with a nice view across the balcony rather than facing the entrance like my mom's. Hehe.

Even so, the a la carte was just OK OK. They even have weird names for the kids menu. I ordered for Hainanese Chicken Rice because I've always loved chicken rice and that time I was really hungry. Bah...

The soup for the chicken rice? Hurr...

Grace had The Little Mermaid from the kids menu. She always order from the kids menu because she don't really eat much and the food in kids menu are relatively cheaper. lol.

I thought the bench I sat on was a long bench that stretched across the four tables beside me so when I slided, I didn't notice I was at the edge of one bench and I fell FLAT on my buttock! Damn PAIN ok!! The damn bench was single, each for one table. When I fell, I was trying to grab on to ANYTHING at all to hold myself up but I didn't get to hold myself, instead pulling the table down with me.
Damn right I know I looked like a bloody fool and I was saying to myself, Thank God no one was at the restaurant. But little did I know when I finally sat well on my buttock and I lifted my head, ONLY to find the Angmoh STARING at me and he was GRINNING ok! I'm sure he was trying his best not to laugh out loud but damn Grace tak bagi muka langsung, she laughed until stomache, can! She was even tearing, worse than me who was suffering from pain on my butt and my knee and everywhere else. HUR!!!
*I'm typing this now and Grace is STILL laughing....*
You reading this are probably laughing as well, yea go ahead because this wasn't the only embarassing moment. After that incident, I wanted to dig a hole and bury myself to to disappear so I just told Grace, lets leave the restaurant now. When we were at the corridor, we heard someone calling, "Mademoiselle". When we turned, the same Angmoh who was grinning came and called us to their table.
Apparently they were celebrating one of the lady's birthday and they invited us to join in the celebration. We were given a slice of cake each and when I took the plate from the grinning Angmoh, the stupid fork slided off the plate. URGH! So blooooody embarassing, as though falling flat on my buttock wasn't bad enough. Sigh..
Anyway, we sat down with them and they were very generous and friendly. They kept asking us if we wanted any drinks and we started chatting. Just the normal chat on how long have they been here and stuffs like that. They were in Malaysia for the past 2 months, touring through states and this was their first time in Malaysia. They loved our country, perhaps because they only get to see the beautiful side of Malaysia.
When they asked Grace and I if we dance, we shook our heads and said it's not a norm for Malaysians to do proper ballroom dancing or any sort of that. We went on to explain that people in Malaysia usually take up lessons for dancing if not they don't. Gosh their facial expression towards our responds was priceless! It was a mixture of shock, disappointment, question marks and unbelievable.
Then they started speaking French among themselves and later in English, saying that they couldn't believe it. "Dancing is such a wonderful thing. Malaysians, no dance? Dancing, No??" Being so determine and passionate towards dancing, they insisted on dragging Grace and I into the dance floor and started teaching us line dancing. I had a hard time following the steps and matching the rhythm. They didn't stop at line dancing and the two gentlemen went on to lead us for another dance, I don't know what it's called but it's what we usually see on movies how they dance la.
Normally I thought it should be easy because they just kept moving in circles in the same spot but heck, I had to keep looking at me feet fearing that I will step onto the Angmoh's feet.
They were really friendly and nice people. We had a great time chatting with them though the language barrier as they do not really speak fluent English and neither Grace not I speaking any bit of French, except for Excusez moi and merci. After we said goodbye to the Frenchs, we went off to bed.
